Built first for chartered accountants and audit firms in Nepal
Financial statements from your client's trial balance
Import the trial balance your client already exports. Statra suggests a grouping for each ledger, you confirm it, and you get the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and cash flow statement in Excel and PDF, with last year beside this year.

The problem
You rebuild the same statements by hand, for every client, every year.
Export the trial balance. Regroup every ledger in Excel. Check last year's figures. Format the statements. Then start again with the next client.
Every client exports differently
Excel, CSV and the web-page .xls files Nepali accounting packages produce. No two arrive in the same shape.
Every ledger is placed by hand
Each one has to go into the right line of the Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss, and next year you do it all again.
Mistakes show up late
An opening balance that does not match last year's closing usually surfaces just before the statements go out.
How it works
Three steps from the client's export to finished statements.
Import
Read the export they already have. Statra shows whether debits and credits tie out before you start.
Map and check
Statra suggests a grouping from each ledger's name, its group and the rules you have built up, and you confirm it. Opening balances are checked against last year's closing, account by account. Your corrections are remembered for next year.
Export
Review both years side by side, then export an Excel workbook for your working papers and a PDF for the client.
Inside the app, these are seven steps: Clients, Import, Map, Opening balances, Correction memory, Preview and Export.
What you get
Statements laid out the way Nepal reads them.
- NFRS
- NFRS for SMEs
- NAS
- NAS for MEs
- NAS for NPOs
NFRS and NAS formats
Statement presentation follows the framework chosen for each client. NFRS is Nepal's reporting standard, based on IFRS.
Prior-year comparatives
Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and cash flow statement, with last year's figures beside this year's.

Corrections that carry over

I'm Aaditya Nepal, a developer in Kathmandu. Since NFRS for SMEs and NAS for MEs became the standard for small companies, every client's statements need the new formats, and much of that work still happens by hand in Excel. I'm building Statra to do the repetitive part, so your time goes to judgement.
Every application comes to me, and founding members get setup help and a WhatsApp line straight to me.
